Dear Mrs. Chansilp
Mrs. Chansilp served as the Headmaster Assistant, however, she has always done way more for the students of Ascent. Her bright smile and good attitude is one of the first experiences we all have when we first walk through the doors in the morning. Esther Walker, 9th said, “I remember one time she pretended that she didn’t see my phone.” That perfectly outlines who Mrs. Chansilp is as a person. She politely handles issues within our classrooms and even our personal issues. Noah Cassay, 9th said, “She has a sense of power and commandment over a room, yet makes everyone laugh.” Mrs. Chansilp admires, cherishes, and cares for each and every student in our school. Mrs. Chansilp has always aimed to help her students through all of their problems. “She has helped me when I’m struggling in school, with panic attacks, and especially friendship problems,” Walker, 9th said. Jackson Raney- Markle, 9th looked toward Mrs. Chansilp for council after our school dealt with the tragedy of Julian Sparks. “She was always there for me, able to make me laugh- during hard days.” Mrs. Chansilp worked with students many times over the course of the day. “She always had time for us. No matter what else she had to do, she wanted to help,” said Cassay, 9th. In Mrs. Chansilp’s adventure of aiding us through our problems, she had massive impacts on her students: “She was getting me through a difficult part of my life, and we were sitting in the conference room coloring and chucking crayons at the wall,” Briar Hegarty, 9th said. She even taught valuable life lessons. Walker, 9th said, “When I first met her, I didn’t like her because she confiscated my phone. She taught me not to judge a book by its cover.” Cassay, 9th said, “I talked to her almost weekly. She would give me tons of advice; she made me feel like a better person." We will never be able to thank Mrs. Chansilp enough for what she has done. Thank you for your kindness; thank you for listening; thank you for making us all laugh; thank you for your advice; thank you for changing our lives.
